Goadsby Commercial has appointed Guy Peirson-Hagger as planning manager at its Southampton office.
Peirson-Hagger, who has considerable experience in all aspects of town planning and can offer advice on a range of development projects, wil cover the east of the region including Hampshire, East Sussex and Surrey. Peter Atfield, planning director who heads up the team, will continue to cover the western region.
Managing director Bill Parker said: "We are expanding our planning consultancy service to meet the demand we are receiving from new and existing clients. The increasing workload generated through our Southampton and Winchester offices has made it necessary to bring in additional expertise. Guy is a most welcome addition to the team and we look forward to growing this important side of our business."
Peirson-Hagger commented: "The planning system has become increasingly complex. Our USP is that we come from a commercial angle. We know what our clients want and we also understand the market arguments, particularly when it comes to viability and deliverability."
