Solent: Pegasus Group opens Chandler's Ford regional office
National multi-disciplinary development consultancy Pegasus Group has opened a new regional office in the south of England, confirming the business is on track to meet its 10-year growth vision.
Located at Tollgate Business Park, Chandler’s Ford, the Solent office is the group’s 15th and follows the opening of regional offices in Newcastle and Dublin in the previous financial year.
The new office will be headed up by senior planning director Jeremy Gardiner who brings with him a wealth of planning experience, especially in the residential sector.
Gardiner said: “I am excited to have joined Pegasus Group, and it is testament to the strength of the company that it has found ways to bring its strategic vision to reality in what are challenging times for the development industry. I look forward to both growing the business in Hampshire and surrounding counties and to strengthening the Group’s capabilities across the South East region.
“The majority of my experience comes from promoting strategic land and handling planning applications for housebuilders. My intention is to build a team which will provide the highest quality consultancy services to our clients and will make a significant contribution to increasing the delivery of homes in the region.
“Our new offices at Tollgate give the Solent team space to grow. Planning will be our core discipline and we will shortly have an initial team of four senior planning consultants, but in time I will be hoping to add other capabilities. To begin with, we will share some resources with Pegasus’s established Bracknell and London teams, with all of us benefitting from combined capabilities.”
Tony Bateman, managing director of Pegasus Group, said: “We have always been clear that our priorities for the future of Pegasus Group are doubling the business over a 10-year period and continuing to build the brand. The opening of our Solent office, our 15th, ensures that our vision of expansion remains on track.
“We are delighted to welcome Jeremy to the group, and confident that his experience and expert knowledge will enable us to offer an enhanced service to our existing client base as well as prospective clients while supporting the growing demand for our specialist planning services.”
