Slough: SEGRO’s Albany Park hits the sweet spot for Krispy Kreme
SEGRO, Europe’s leading owner-manager and developer of industrial property, has announced that premium doughnut retailer Krispy Kreme UK is to extend its stay at Albany Park Estate in Frimley, having signed a new 10-year lease.
Krispy Kreme will continue to occupy Building 4, totalling almost 14,000 sq ft. The building is used as its UK head office, as well as for the production of the Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
Paul Lewis, SEGRO’s regional director for the Thames Valley, said: “We are pleased to see a world-renowned business and brand name like Krispy Kreme extend its stay at Albany Park, which remains a popular location for businesses due to its excellent transport links and the amenities it offers employees who are based here.”
SEGRO’s interest in Albany Park covers 260,000 sq ft, spread across 23 buildings comprising of mainly industrial warehouses. It is in a prime business location, situated adjacent to Junction 4 of the M3 and Frimley town centre and is home to a variety of manufacturing, technology and distribution businesses, including Javelin Plastics, Cablenet and Amazon Filters.
