Sigma Homes acquires coastal brownfield site in West Sussex
Sigma Homes Group has acquired a brownfield site in the coastal village of Rustington in West Sussex.
The 2.78-acre site has detailed planning consent in place for 33 units, which includes a mix of family homes and luxury apartments.
Located on Sea Road, Rustington, it’s one mile south of Angmering and currently consists of cleared land and various standalone buildings.
Sigma Homes plans to build 26 new properties, with the Cook’s House and Carpenter’s House being converted into two dwellings. The Laundry Building will be converted to five spacious apartments.
Construction work is due to take place in Summer this year, with the first homes being ready for occupation in Spring 2025.
Mark Allison, land director at Sigma Homes, said: “We’re delighted to have now acquired this site – especially due to its wonderful location on the seafront, as well as boasting excellent connectivity to nearby towns and villages.
“I’d like to thank all of the team at Sigma Homes Group who worked on this project, as well as our external partners and consultants.
“We look forward to commencing construction on this prized site.”
The housebuilder worked with Knights, Daniel Watney and Spencer May Commercial LLP to acquire the site.
