Reading’s Haslams Chartered Surveyors takes on former Team GB water skier
Reading-based Haslams Chartered Surveyors has appointed Georgia Fearn as an Apprentice Surveyor on its commercial agency team.
Georgia is making the switch following a career of competitive water skiing with Team GB. Starting with a property degree at Reading’s University College of Estate Management, she will then work towards becoming an RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor.
Partner Harry Bevins said: “We are delighted that Georgia has joined the agency team here at Haslams.

“We are committed to providing our current and future clients with the expertise and capacity necessary to fulfil their aims and objectives and one of the ways we can ensure this is by having a strong and well-resourced team.
“Georgia brings huge levels of energy and enthusiasm as well as great interpersonal skills and attention to detail, so we’re confident she will be a great asset to the team.”
The appointment follows exciting news for the company after they joined forces with Sharps Commercial under the Haslams banner earlier this year.
Managing Partner Neil Seager added: “Following the recent merger we needed to bolster the team, but we were also keen to provide an opportunity to someone outside of the traditional route into surveying.
“We look forward to working with Georgia and helping her to kick start her career in property.”
