Reading: Malmaison refurbishes hotel
Malmaison, the boutique hotel brand, has completed a refurbishment of its railway station hotel at Reading. The investment has re-affirmed its status as a go-to destination given distinction by the newly-renovated Chez Mal bar, brasserie and reception area.
In the new, edgy interior of the brasserie and Chez Mal bar, with its low-hanging bulbs, exposed brick, natural wood finishes and leather banquette seating, visitors can savour the new menus and a wide range of new cocktails. The refurbishment nods at the history of the building, with railway-inspired art throughout and a cast-iron staircase.
Paul Roberts, CEO of Malmaison Hotel du Vin, said: “We are hugely proud of what we have to offer to those coming to Malmaison Reading, which is such a great, fun and vibrant city.”
