Hermes Investment Management has let a further 10,200 sq ft at Abbey Gardens South, part of the Abbey Gardens office complex in Reading, to Inframon and Premier Group.

Inframon, a specialist cloud service provider, has taken 2,644 sq ft on the ground floor at Abbey Gardens South on a five-year lease term, while Premier Group, a recruitment firm, has taken 7,556 sq ft on the fifth floor.

Stephen Ellis, asset manager at Hermes Investment Management, said: “These two lettings are a major turning point for this building following an extensive refurbishment to create Grade A office space with excellent natural light, large floor plates and outstanding views over Reading. On the back of these lettings we have decided to increase the quoting rent for Abbey Gardens South to £31.50 sq ft.”

Andrew Woosnam, founder of Premier Group, said: “We viewed several office buildings in Reading town centre and felt Abbey Gardens South offered us the quality we were looking for. We are delighted that we have now completed the lease and very much look forward to taking occupation in October.”

Campbell Gordon, Strutt & Parker and Montagu Evans acted on behalf of Hermes Investment Management; Inframon and Premier Group were both unrepresented.
