Reading: Haslams transforms office for launch of Arborfield Green
Haslams has transformed its new Reading office into a 'pop-up shop' for the off-plan launch of Arborfield Green – a landmark development by Crest Nicholson of 2,000 new homes in Berkshire.
The new 6,000 sq ft open-plan office has undergone a complete restoration which has allowed it to host a large model of Waterman’s View, the first phase of the development, and to use an 18-foot video wall and four 55-inch LCD bright screens to transform the premises into a sales suite.
Mike Shearn, head of new homes at Haslams, said: “Developers always face a challenge in selling their new homes off-plan during the early construction stages when there’s no space for a temporary sales cabin, so we designed our innovative office with off-plan launch events in mind.”
Waterman’s View, set on the former Arborfield Garrison site, is a collection of 37, one and two-bedroom apartments in beautiful, landscaped surroundings. A further 47, two, three, four and five-bedroom houses will be released for sale later this year. When the new “garden village” is complete, it will comprise 2,000 homes, new primary and secondary schools, a library and a gym. It will offer residents an active lifestyle with new footpaths, cycle ways and bridle paths.
Mary Timlin, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson, said: “This is a real game-changer for how we plan to launch off-plan developments in the future.”
