Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP welcomed guests to its popular development land seminar featuring guest speakers from Haslams Chartered Surveyors and planning consultants Pegasus Group.

Partners Katja Wigham, Jane Gunnell (commercial property) and Karen Jones (planning & environmental) were joined by Steven Smith, senior partner at Haslams Chartered Surveyors, and Nick Kirby, a director based at Pegasus Group’s Bracknell office.

Held at Reading Borough Council’s offices, ‘The Anatomy of a Development Land Deal – Part 2’ followed spring’s sell-out part-one event involving the same three firms.

Topics included Judicial Review, amendments to planning permission, viability and the extensive deal documentation involved.

The event welcomed guests representing landowners, property developers, local authorities, educational institutions and professional services firms.

Blandy & Blandy has been named as a finalist for Property Law Firm of the Year at the Thames Valley Property Awards twice in the past three years, winning in 2017. Planning magazine has ranked Blandy & Blandy among the top 25 planning law firms nationally, while the firm is recognised in the top tier in the UK’s leading guides to law firms, Chambers UK and The Legal 500.
