Law firm Blake Morgan has announced the appointment of a new partner, Zoe Wright, recruited to drive the growth of the firm's 20-person property litigation team.

With over 18 years' experience and recognised as a Leading Individual and Notable Practitioner by Legal 500 and Chambers UK, Zoe specialises in advising on complex land law matters, including telecommunications law, restrictive covenants and easements, agricultural and water law, as well as providing the full range of property asset management services to investment landlords and corporate occupiers.  Wright is based in the firm’s fast-growing Reading office and will work with colleagues across England and Wales.

Wright joins Blake Morgan from Shoosmiths LLP where she trained, qualifying in 2002.  Wright was made a partner in May 2015.  She has acted for a wide range of high-profile real estate clients, including a premiership football club and a global car manufacturer.  She is also a member of the Property Litigation Association and the Agricultural Law Association and has a nationally recognised expertise in telecommunications law and infrastructure development.

On her appointment to partner at Blake Morgan, Zoe Wright commented: “Blake Morgan’s Property Litigation team has a diverse and impressive range of clients.  The long-standing relationships the team has cultivated is testament to their drive to always put clients’ needs at the heart of their advice.  What most attracted me to the firm is the opportunity to work across the Thames Valley, London and Cardiff to deliver strategic advice for a wide range of clients on complex commercial property litigation disputes.”

Philip Jardine, partner at Blake Morgan, added: “Zoe's appointment is key to our future growth and development and adds further strength and depth to the Property Litigation team. I have no doubt that she will help drive forward the firm's ambitious plans for our Property Group. Her conscientious and client focused approach has afforded her an excellent reputation for providing clear, commercial and practical advice to a wide range of clients. With a particular specialism in Telecommunications law, Zoe’s at the forefront in advising on property issues that will only become more prevalent as the country continues to invest in super-fast fibre and 5G networks.”
