After 17 years at its previous home on Kings Road, accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has moved to a brand new high-tech office at Thames Tower in the heart of Reading.
The 14,000 sq ft Grade A office space on the 12th floor of Thames Tower is one of Reading’s most prestigious developments. The space reflects the firm’s commitment to flexibility, collaboration and agile working, driven by the changing needs of BDO’s clients and its 220 strong team. The new office incorporates almost total hot desking using a new digital desk utilisation system, open-space communal areas, collaborative working zones, quiet spaces and wireless connectivity throughout.
Commenting on the move, partner and head of BDO in the Thames Valley, Simon Brooker said: “The firm has spent much time identifying what the BDO office of the future might look like and what our needs for office space will be, so when we took the decision to move to a brand new state-of-the-art building we decided to fully embrace the firm’s vision of the future. This move marks the start of a new chapter for BDO in the Thames Valley and demonstrates the strength of our commitment to the region and the success of its businesses.”
