Portsmouth: Strong interest for space at serviced office centre
Pure Offices’ new serviced office centre in Portsmouth has got off to a flying start with more than 30% of space let or under offer in its first seven weeks. Since Pure Offices opened the newly refurbished business centre overlooking the Solent Marina at the beginning of March, the operator has reported strong interest from a range of business sectors.
Pure Offices’ Port Solent centre is the operator’s 17th UK business centre and its first on the South Coast. The building contains 58 offices designed to accommodate both start-ups and established regional businesses. It has already attracted a range of occupiers, including AMT Data Technologies, Meditalent, Serenity Digital, Micron Eagle Filtration, I-Cog and Regis Machinery Sales.
Offering units of between 125 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft, the centre enjoys a prime position overlooking the water and is within walking distance of major retail outlets, restaurants, hotels and public transport.
Alongside the contemporary offices, occupiers also have access to a business lounge, breakout space and a selection of meeting rooms. Additional draws include fast broadband and generous on-site parking. Pure Offices’ clear and affordable pricing structure has proved hugely popular and the one month rolling contract is a refreshing alternative to restrictive long leases.
The centre not only offers a first-class working environment, but welcomes occupiers to a community of like-minded businesses. There is a busy events programme designed to keep occupiers informed and encourage interaction. The centre recently hosted an Easter get together and clients are being invited to a business BBQ to be held this month.
Centre manager Julie Webber said: “We are delighted to have had such a successful opening few weeks and have attracted interest from occupiers across a range of different sectors. The centre’s location, facilities and flexible terms are proving to be a real draw for businesses and we look forward to welcoming many more clients in the coming months.”
