Portsmouth-based property development company Hampshire & Regional Property Group, which is involved in an increasing number of regeneration projects across the Solent region, has expanded its team with the appointment of Filipe Martins as development manager.
He is a chartered surveyor, comes from a commercial property background, and has particular expertise in professional services and valuation. He will be responsible for ensuring that projects are run with the utmost efficiency and that they achieve maximum value.
Allan Gordon, managing director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Filipe to the team. His precise financial-forecasting and risk-management skills are second to none and we know his specialisms will bring real value to our growing list of clients.”
Martins, who lives in Portsmouth, added: “Having worked in the Solent Region all my career I’m looking forward to playing a part in developing the region’s economy through Hampshire & Regional Property Group’s projects.”
The group’s current projects include the multi-million-pound transformation of Southampton’s former fruit-and-vegetable market into 270 flats for the rental market under a private rented sector scheme.
