Planning consultancy Boyer makes senior promotions in Bristol and Berkshire
Planning consultancy Boyer has made three promotions at a senior level in Bristol and Berkshire.
Karen Charles, head of Boyer’s Wokingham office has been promoted from director to executive director, Lawrence Turner, associate director in Boyer’s Bristol office has been promoted to director, and Michelle Quan, associate director in Boyer’s Wokingham office has been promoted to director.
The appointments come at the end of a successful year for the company, in which it has strengthened its regional presence and grown its client base, which covers a variety of sectors including strategic planning, housebuilding, Build to Rent, later living, education, RSLs, renewables and commercial property.
Andrew Williams, managing director of Boyer, said: "We are very pleased to be in a position to grow Boyer through internal promotions, which recognises the considerable achievements of these five individuals. Furthermore in giving them new responsibilities, it creates future opportunities for others within the business.
"The newly created position of Executive Director gives additional responsibilities to Grant and Karen, who have both played a significant role in the growth of the business It allows them to work more strategically across Boyer and LRG nationally while also refocusing and developing the roles of their team members.
"In promoting Lawrence Turner in Bristol and Simon Barry in Cardiff, we are well positioned to develop the business in the west, an area which has seen considerable growth in the last year. LRG’s Land division has a strong presence in the area and works effectively with us as a planning consultancy, to the benefit of our mutual clients."
