Planners approve two new Barratt David Wilson Homes developments in East Sussex
Two new Barratt David Wilson Homes developments in Hailsham, East Sussex, have been approved by planners.
The schemes, called Cuckoo Fields, sit off Station Road and will provide 372 new homes, of which 35% will be affordable.

David Wilson Homes is part of major UK housebuilder, Barratt Developments.
Kimberley Benson, sales and marketing director for David Wilson southern counties said: "We are very pleased to have secured detailed permission for Cuckoo Fields, which will enable us to continue our much-needed new homes delivery in Hailsham.
"This major scheme is set to provide essential housing for the region, alongside helping to fund essential community facilities and public amenities, and we look forward to getting boots on site and beginning work."
Construction is due to begin in late August this year with buyers set to be able to view the show home from early 2024.
As part of the planning approvals, Barratt David Wilson Southern Counties has committed to invest over £7 million into the local community as part of its Section 106 agreement and community infrastructure levy payments.
