Marlow: Meridian Leisure to extensively refurbish Crowne Plaza

Meridian Leisure Hotels has announced the refurbishment of its distinguished Crowne Plaza Marlow Hotel, a recent acquisition, which will transform the lakeside hotel location into 'one of the finest resorts under the Crowne Plaza brand'.

The hotel has started an extensive multi-million-pound refurbishment programme, which includes a transformation of the 168 bedrooms. The contemporary revamp will be completed by the internationally acclaimed design team Twenty2 Degrees in order to achieve the inspired makeover reflected in the concept design.

The refurbishment will include all public areas of the hotel including the AA Rosette Glaze Restaurant, the Aqua Bar and Conservatory overlooking the lake and lawns, and a complete redesign of the Winterlake Conference Centre and its 10 meeting rooms, to include the latest state-of-the-art conferencing capability.

The project, which is expected to be completed by Christmas, will be undertaken in seamless phases, without impact to our guest experience, as the hotel continues to operate.

The property, which is set in five acres of Buckinghamshire countryside, will unveil its new look throughout the course of 2019. Crowne Plaza Marlow is located within close walking distance of the town, and the contemporary building showcases views of its landscaped gardens.
