Mapletree welcomes Wood plc to Green Park
Mapletree, the real-estate company, is welcoming Wood, the consulting and engineering company, to its Reading business park, Green Park.
Headquartered in Aberdeen, with 36,000 professionals across 60 countries, Wood is set to relocate its Reading workforce from its current Shinfield Park site to 400 Longwater Avenue in August 2024.
This move will see Wood move into a 'best-in-class workspace' that the company hopes 'will encourage positive employee physical and mental health, and attract new talent and bolster project delivery'.

The deals at 400 Longwater Avenue and its sister building, 450 Longwater Avenue, to Three Mobile represent two of the largest deals in the region in the last 5 years. This announcement comes as a series of more occupiers are set to arrive in early 2024.
Rory Carson, Mapletree’s Vice President of Asset Management in the UK, said: “Wood joins the Green Park community at an exciting time. We’ve already seen the impact that Green Park Station has had on the park’s connectivity.
''Alongside this, Mapletree is kickstarting its £7.9m investment programme to introduce a range of new amenities to further enhance our residents’ work lives and wellbeing. We’re thrilled to welcome Wood to Green Park.”
