Category judges are looking for a law firm whose property team has had an exceptional year, either in terms of volume of work, quality of instructions, or both.

Particular attention will be given to law firms that have instructed on complex deals during the year, or that have excelled in advisory work.

Eligible law firms can have acted in the commercial or residential property markets; and can have been instructed by developers, agents, occupiers, and/or investors. In reviewing submissions, judges will also pay attention to client testimonials.

Sponsors Lambert Smith Hampton state they would expect the winner to share their values and core principles, Director Andy Hodgkinson explained: "We treat our people with respect, conduct our business ethically, and run our operations efficiently, sustainably and responsibly.

"Among our principles are a being active in the local communities we serve to create positive change. We work with investors, developers and occupiers in both the public and private sectors across the UK and Ireland.

"We are passionate about the work we do within the built environment, ensuring communities remain connected, while relentlessly challenging the status quo. After all, it’s our lifeblood to find new ways to solve the biggest property challenges of our time."

Nominations for the South Coast Property Awards close Friday. You can make a nomination here, the application is easy, requires only a few moments and is free of charge.
