Landmark office building One Station Hill to open in Reading next year
One Station Hill in Reading, a landmark, £850 million, mixed-use regeneration project adjacent to Reading’s mainline and Elizabeth Line station, will be ready for occupation early next year.
The mixed-use urban regeneration will deliver a new 2.5 million sq ft district for Reading and act as the new gateway to Reading town centre and the Thames Valley.
It is being delivered by Lincoln Property Company (LPC) and MGT Investment Management (MGT). In May, LPC and MGT have partnered with Native Residential to provide UK operational management expertise on its first phase 598 Built-to-Rent (BTR) homes.
The first two build to rent apartment buildings at Station Hill are available from this summer and will be known as Ebb&Flow. The name represents the geographic coming together of the River Thames and River Kennet which has historically been of strategic and economic importance to the town.
The landmark building will include 15 floors of workspace and a fitness club.
The whole regeneration scheme will also provide 1,300 homes to rent, 95,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space and 625,000 sq ft of office space.
The US company bought the site in 2018 for an estimated £70m, becoming its third owner in 13 years.
