Jakes Indoor Playworld in Berkshire sold to growing adventure farms business
Jakes Indoor Playworld, trading as Jakes Indoor Soft Play and Mini Farm, has been sold for an undisclosed sum.
The Sandhurst venue is now owned by Yarmouth-based Adventure Farms Limited – a new company founded by Bean Chapman and Tom Honeyman-Brown, owners of Chobham Adventure Farm in Surrey and Tapnell Farm on the Isle of Wight.
Jakes has been family owned and operated for the last 14 years, during which time the vendors invested in the site to develop the successful business operating today.

The site comprises a well-located activity centre with indoor soft play facilities and mini farm, as well as outdoor adventure park.
With the vendors now looking to retire, they sought a sale with legal representation from Cheltenham-based Hughes Paddison Solicitors. The buyers were represented by Cradley Heath firm George Green LLP.
Savills completed the sale.
Kay Griffiths, director in the leisure and trading team at Savills, said: “We’re delighted to have concluded this sale on behalf of our client.
“They’ve worked hard during their ownership to build the successful business that it is today, and have created a strong platform for the new owners to develop it further.”
