Sigma Homes has submitted a planning application to Runnymede Borough Council for a residential scheme worth £20m in Surrey.

The Weybridge scheme, which will be 10 acres and include 29 dwellings, will be made up of detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses. Sigma are also planning to develop 8 apartments on the scheme as well.

Powell Dobson Architects were appointed to design the scheme’s homes, which will be built using timber frame construction to maximise thermal efficiency.

The homes will all have an EPC A rating and will benefit from air source heat pumps. Furthering this, residents will all have access to EV car charging points.

Chief executive at Sigma Homes Geoff Potton said: “The £20m scheme will enable the sensitive redevelopment and regeneration of a redundant brownfield site.

“This will be our fourth project in Surrey, and our biggest development in the county to date.

“We are thrilled to be working with Runnymede Borough Council’s planning officers, local councillors, and stakeholders to progress with the plans for our Weybridge site.”

Sigma homes development proposals includes retaining and restoring heritage features and buildings within the premises, including the Grade II Listed Pigeon House and courtyard assemblage.

The new residential development will maintain existing moats, ponds, and the adjoining landscape, delivering net biodiversity gains.

The scheme is located at Hamm Court, which leads onto the A317. Two parking spaces have been allotted to each property. The development location is well connected to local amenities and travel services, Weybridge town centre, where residents can take regular trains into central London, is a short walk away.

Sigma Homes was founded in 2013. The company currently has five live developments in locations across the south of England and is on track to deliver 200 homes per annum by 2025.
