Gloucester-based architects GSSArchitecture has been selected by national public sector procurement specialist LHC to provide architectural services through its multi-disciplinary consultancy framework, which will run for six years.

Founded over 140 years ago, GSSArchitecture has built an extensive portfolio of projects across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, commercial & industrial, sports & leisure, arts, residential and heritage works, making the firm suitably qualified to deliver a wide variety of projects through the framework.

Speaking of their recent appointment, Tom Lyons, Senior Partner at GSSArchitecture, said “We are thrilled to have been appointed by LHC to provide Architectural, Quantity Surveying and Project Management services, and look forward to utilising this to deliver exciting nationwide schemes.

"This success is the latest of a number of national framework appointments for the Practice and we are delighted to continue to improve our service offering to our clients.”

Gary Cawley, CPC Regional Director at LHC said, “This is the first time we have offered a framework like this across our region, which has been designed to provide a comprehensive range of high-quality consultancy services across multiple disciplines to the public sector for projects of all sizes.

"Not only does it meet client need and truly reflect the current market, but it also offers something more.”

LHC is a provider of free-to-use framework agreements used for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.

It brings buyers and suppliers together, to build and maintain public property more efficiently and cost-effectively, and to benefit the local community.
