A new 30,000 sq ft warehouse in Leamington Spa is set to be opened soon by Fullers Fulfilment.

Fullers says the warehouse at Spa Park will service about 100 small to medium-sized e-commerce businesses in the Midlands area that need orders picked, packed and distributed to customers, as well as handling returns and providing secure storage.

As part of its service, Fullers will offer expert advice on low-waste and eco-friendly options, including recyclable packaging and couriers with electric fleets, that match businesses ethics and values, as well as meeting practical needs.

Fullers has just been awarded the International Standard ISO 14001 for its environmental management system, meaning Fullers has a strategic focus and framework to control and reduce its environmental impact and ensure it meets all legal obligations.

Tony Dempsey (pictured) divisional managing director at Fullers Fulfilment, said: “The UK’s e-commerce sector is booming with more people shopping online, and more companies needing our fulfilment services to pick, pack and send products to customers, especially with environmental impact and sustainability in mind.

“Our existing warehouses in the South are already very busy so we’re delighted to have secured the site in Leamington Spa, which will be a brilliant gateway for us to serve businesses and end-customers across the Midlands and beyond, as well as allowing us to tap in to a new pool of talent for our growing workforce.”

Fullers has always focused on offering the best people, process and technology for businesses since it was established in 1961. The growing company currently employs 300 people at sites in Slough, Berkshire, and Bordon, Hampshire.

Fullers is recruiting approximately 20 new employees initially for the Leamington Spa site, including warehouse managers and supervisors, customer care and admin staff as well as warehouse order pickers. Staff numbers are expected to increase as more businesses use Fullers’ services.

New recruits will undergo professional training, including for the use of specialist lifts and fork lift trucks for appropriate roles, to ensure they deliver the highest standards for clients and customers.

Fullers works with a diverse range of industry sectors, including luxury goods, industrial supplies, wholesale and manufacturing. Clients range from corporate giants, such as BMW and Mars through to smaller boutique brands, such as sustainable fashion label Seventy + Mochi and Indian hair and beauty firm Fable and Mane.

The new warehouse in Spa Park is in the heart of the commercial district of Leamington Spa, with easy access to the M40 and M42.
