Marlow Film Studios has submitted a full planning application with further public viewing opportunities of the plans announced.

The studio's backers have now submitted a completed application after undergoing 10 months of pre-application consultation where the team behind the studios exhibited its plans, consulted with local groups, and provided the community options to feedback on its proposals digitally and in person.

The state-of-the-art world-leading studio complex which is being led by a group of four local entrepreneurs is planned to be built on the former gravel pits to the side of the A404 Westhorpe Junction at Little Marlow.

The planning documents, which detail the proposal to turn a former landfill site alongside the A404 at Westhorpe Junction in Little Marlow, into state-of-the-art film studios, are available to view on Buckinghamshire Council’s planning portal.

Marlow Film Studios has confirmed the team’s ongoing commitment to community engagement by organising a series of drop-in sessions to be held at Marlow Library.

“We’ve really appreciated that engagement over the last year has been so collaborative with the community. Planning documents have now been formally submitted, and so in the same spirit, members of the team continue to be available to answer any questions” said Robert Laycock, CEO of Marlow Film Studios.

“Please do have a look at the application on Buckinghamshire Council’s website and get in touch with us to ask any queries you may have.

“For those who haven’t had an opportunity to engage with us so far, we’re available to discuss planning considerations, or indeed the wider supply-chain, sustainable transport, and educational aspects of the Studios.

The details of dates for the Marlow Film Studios drop-ins are:

· Tuesday 28th June 1pm to 4pm

· Tuesday 5th July 10am – 1pm

· Thursday 14th July 12pm – 3pm

· Saturday 23rd July 10am – 1pm

· Tuesday 26th July 12pm – 3pm
