AVASK Accounting are occupying two floors of Oceana House on Commercial Road, Southampton facilitated by property consultancy Vail Williams LLP.

Oceana House in Southampton is now fully let following a five-year lease signed by Pace Recruitment Services.

The recruitment firm has agreed to occupy the 1,879 square feet ground floor east suite, joining Womble Bond Dickinson, AVASK Accounting and Handelsbanken in the five story office building on Commercial Road.

Vail Williams, a property consultancy with offices across the South East acted as sole agents on the transaction, representing Fidelity UK Real Estate Fund on a deal worth a little more than £23 per square foot.

Solicitors Penningtons Manches Cooper acted for Fidelity UK Real Estate while Pace Recruitment Services engaged the services of law firm Moore Barlow.

Oceana House, Southampton, is fully let with the signing of Pace Recruitment Services.

Matt Cureton, a Vail Williams surveyor covering Hampshire, said: “We can call full house on Oceana House, which provides in-demand quality workspace for the staff of four companies in the heart of the city’s business district and just a short walk from the mainline railway station and retail and leisure destinations.

“An interesting aspect of the latest lease signing is the landlord’s emphasis on a green clause, which is likely to become far more prevalent in commercial lettings across the board.

“In this case, the fit-out has been done to help with energy efficiency and the landlord and occupier will liaise over energy, water and waste-saving measures through usage monitoring and data.”
