Amiri Construction has appointed Jon Daines as area director. His focus will be on enhancing the Fareham company's presence in Dorset and the west.

Daines (below right) has spent the past 10 years in a leadership role in the Poole office of a Tier One contractor and is well known to the Amiri team having worked with a number of the current directors and staff for many years previously.

The company said: "His approach fits perfectly with The Amiri Way and Jon brings with him the opportunity to work with a variety of new clients, many within the public sector."

Amiri managing director Martin Tidby (below left) said: “The opportunity to work with someone of Jon’s calibre, who knows our business and our culture so well, to enhance our presence in Dorset and to diversify our client base was one that we simply had to take.”
