Since the introduction of a special works division last June, Fareham-based Amiri Construction has received a contribution of £1 million towards its £40m turnover.

Mark Vincent, director at Amiri, said that the board was delighted with the initial performance of the new team headed by Gary Lovell.

“The Special Works team has managed projects including the £900k reheating project for Noadswood School in Dibden Purlieu, Southampton, a £100k refurbishment project at the private residence of a repeat client in West Sussex and has recently begun work on the £1.8m phased refurbishment of a care home in Alton, Hampshire, thanks to a focused approach whilst drawing from the skilled team from our main construction arm,” said Vincent.

£4.3m has also been generated by the interiors division which started in June 2017 and has since been consistently busy with commercial, education and leisure related projects. The company has also had a new website constructed that portrays the variety of key projects that it completes with its on-time on-budget philosophy.

Founded in 2005, Amiri Construction employs a team of 43. Projects range between £50,000 and the highest to date, £10m.
