A furniture manufacturer is undergoing a major expansion after taking on a new industrial unit.
Frovi has moved into an 11,000 sq ft unit on the Park 34 Southmead Industrial Estate in Didcot in a deal agreed by commercial property specialists VSL.
The unit has been fully refurbished and includes a secure yard. A 10-year lease at £8.50 per sq ft has been agreed.
The move marks significant growth for Frovi which already has a unit nearby at Southmead Industrial Park, Gooch. VSL acted for landlord Standard Aberdeen and the estate is now fully occupied.
Duncan May, associate director at VSL, said: “It is good to see a local company expanding and building on its success. Didcot is proving an increasingly attractive location as it continues to expand, providing a ready-made workforce on the doorstep. We have achieved rental growth for the unit which shows that demand for this type of property is growing.”
