Dentist launches ‘passion project’ new practice in Belbroughton
At an age when many people are thinking of retirement, dentist Dr Paul Worskett has launched a new practice in a Worcestershire village, with the help of commercial property agents John Truslove.
After running a successful large practice near Stourbridge for 30 years Dr Worskett sold up five years ago, but his passion for his work and the way it can improve people’s quality of life has seen him launch Dentique Dentistry in Belbroughton.
The new private practice specialises in high quality dental care, and in particular, implants and restorative dentistry.
Dr Worskett said: “This aspect of dentistry has been a particular interest of mine for 20 years. I’ve always enjoyed the job and decided I wanted to continue providing a service to people in this specialised field. In addition, we also provide other specialist services, including root fillings, IV sedation, and cosmetic treatments, as well as orthodontics, Invisalign and teeth whitening.
Dr Worskett has secured a 10-year lease on the 1,379 sq ft Unit 6, at a rental of £16,000 per annum.
“It’s been something of a passion project for me and I am happy that things are going well. I have a good team working with me and we have already recruited more dental staff to accommodate the growing demand, including two specialists in orthodontics and oral surgery.”
