Croudace Homes to deliver residential development site at Burghfield Common

Family-owned developer, Croudace Homes has been selected by the Englefield Estate to deliver a new residential development site at Burghfield Common, West Berkshire.

The new development, of up to 100 high-quality homes, will be delivered by Croudace at the site close to Clayhill Road. The scheme will comprise both family houses and flats of which 40% will be affordable. Croudace will work in partnership with the Englefield Estate to prepare and submit a further planning application to West Berkshire Council, setting out design proposals for the new development, subject to public consultation.

Commenting on the selection of Croudace, Fiona Sullivan, a surveyor in the Savills' South Central Development team who advised the Englefield Estate on the acquisition, said: "Savills has been working with the Englefield Estate for a number of years on schemes such as Burghfield Common. The selection criteria was particularly tough and Croudace won through as they were the strongest party in terms of fulfilling the Estate objectives and upholding the legacy that we wish to see delivered in Burghfield Common."
