Cheltenham headquartered infrastructure and environmental consultants Cotswold Transport Planning have rebranded as Rappor, reflecting their ambition to become one of the UK’s leading infrastructure and environmental consultancies to the property, development and construction industries.

Rappor has been based in Cheltenham since it was founded in 2014 by Adam Padmore, Managing Director.

With several offices now established across the country and the company offering an ever-increasing number of engineering services for both public and private clients, Adam felt 2022 was the right time for the company to rebrand and reposition itself.

“The new name reflects both our company ethos and way of doing business,” said Adam.

“Attracting people and building partnerships has been in our DNA since the day we started the business. Whether it’s an environmental or engineering appraisal, for planning or at the construction stage, our clients tell us that what we do and the way we do it makes a real difference to them and adds value to their projects.

"That’s why those ever important two P’s, standing for People and Partnership, are front and centre in the middle of our new name, Rappor.”

An early advocate of online news, he spent the first years of the 2000s telling his bosses that the internet posed both the biggest opportunity and greatest threat to the newspaper industry and the art of journalism. He was right on both counts.

Since 2006 he has enjoyed a career as a freelance journalist. He lives in rural Wiltshire with one wife, two children, and three cats.
