Charters, South East estate agent, has announced the opening of a new branch in Park Gate, near Fareham, to further extend its reach across the Solent region.

The new office in Middle Road is home to Charters’ teams of sales and lettings experts who will be on hand to offer advice and support to local residents across Park Gate, Locks Heath, Warsash, Whiteley and surrounding areas.

"We are delighted to be expanding our branch network into one of the most sought-after residential areas of the south coast," commented Rob Mott, chairman of the Charters Group. "We are very much looking forward to bringing the Charters’ award-winning brand of property expertise to buyers, sellers and tenants in this popular location.

"But more than that, we’re excited that we have brought new employment opportunities to the local area too. Our Park Gate office is manned by a team of local experts with the regional knowledge our customers rely on to make the right choices when it comes to buying a new home and securing the best price for their property. We’ll also have a lettings and independent financial services specialists on hand for support.

"In the last 12 months our workforce across the Charters Group has increased from 116 to 162, which reflects our progressive approach to providing the full spectrum of specialist property services under one powerful, independent roof. As the market continues to thrive, we’re able to offer our customers a truly holistic property service that spans sales and lettings to surveys, development appraisal and financial services."

Led by branch manager, Alex Weller (pictured), the new branch brings the Charters network to a total of nine offices across Hampshire and Surrey. The opening of the Park Gate office and a new central Southampton branch location whose team is currently based in the Chandlers Ford head office, follows Charters’ acquisition of Charles Powell Estate Agents. This programme of strategic expansion is already building on an exceptional customer service offering that customers at all Charters’ branches value so much.
