Real estate advisor CBRE has appointed Kevin Wood as a Senior Director in its Oxford office. Kevin joins the firm from Lambert Smith Hampton where he was head of the Oxford office and led the national Life Sciences team.

The appointment follows CBRE’s acquisition of Oxford-based commercial property agency VSL and Partners Limited (VSL) in March this year.

A highly experienced leasing agent, Kevin has advised on some of the largest Science Parks across the region, including Harwell Campus and Oxford Business Park, as well as acting on numerous industrial and office instructions

He has advised on some of the highest profile transactions in the market in recent times, including the pre-let of the Minion Building to Oxford Nanopore at Harwell Campus and leasing the speculatively refurbished building 5520 to Perspctum Diagnostics.

Kevin Wood said: “I am excited to be joining CBRE and look forward to helping the team drive the growth of the office and increase our agency footprint across the region.”

Richard Venables, Senior Director CBRE commented: “Following the acquisition of VSL earlier this year, CBRE is committed to growing its presence across the region and hiring the strongest talent in the market. Kevin is a highly respected agent and will be a great asset to our team as we continue to grow our business.”
