Camberley: Deepwater moves to Frimley4 Business Park
Frimley4 Business has signed a pre-let deal with Deepwater EU, the anti-corrosion engineering company, which will move into the first of the six high-tech units at Frimley4 Business Park this month and make it the home of its UK operations.
The 6,700 sq ft unit, like the others in the development, has been specifically built with the needs of modern technology and with industrial companies in mind.
Geoff Camm, Deepwater general manager, said: “I’ll be proud to host our senior colleagues from Texas here when they visit. The major attraction is the 50/50 split of the building between office and warehouse. Currently, the Deepwater operations are on two separate sites miles apart, so we don’t feel unified. My staff and I are looking forward to the fantastic new facilities and a spacious working environment.
“The ground floor will be given over to our testing equipment in a laboratory area, and will provide plentiful storage space. Upstairs, we’ll have a large conference room and open-plan offices and all staff will benefit from a large, attractive rest room and kitchen. This unit gives us space to grow which is exciting.”
Ken Muschamp, Rushmoor Borough Council’s deputy leader who visited the development recently, described it as “an economic asset of national importance”. One of its attractions is that there’s a premier private jet gateway just up the road, as TAG Farnborough Airport is a mere four miles away, offering business executives the opportunity to reach London by helicopter in only 15 minutes.
Wadham & Isherwood is the sole letting agent.
