Bracknell: Landmark office building sold to furniture brand
The freehold of a landmark office building in Bracknell has been sold on behalf of private clients.
Octagon House in Bracknell sits opposite the ice rink and dry ski slope, close to the Coppid Beech Hotel. The prominent four storey detached building totals 16,000 sq ft with 60 parking spaces.
The buyer Danetti is a British contemporary furniture brand which in recent years has seen significant growth. The building will be used as its new headquarters with the ground floor being used as its first UK furniture showroom.
Neil Seager at Haslams joint disposing agent said: “We are pleased to have sold this property for our client. We are even more pleased to hear of a British company thriving despite Covid. Whilst some companies are facing challenging times there will always be companies that benefit from structural change.”
The quoting price for the property was £3 million.
Fryer Commercial and Haslams acted jointly for the vendor; Steve Barrett at Hurst Warne acted for Danetti.
