Communication services provider BtL has announced that it is now ‘on net’ after completing a deal and moving to new 7,500 sq ft offices in the heart of Bracknell. The new offices will be equipped with the ultra-fast, fibre network infrastructure provided by its partner, CityFibre.

The move strategically places Between the Lines (BtL) within the CityFibre Gigabit City network, a network that is set to make Bracknell one of the best-connected cities in the UK.

In 2016, BtL was appointed CityFibre’s launch partner for its Gigabit speed capable, fibre internet infrastructure in Reading and Bracknell, because of its history of being a bespoke provider of business-to-business IT and telecoms services. BtL and CityFibre plan to extend to four cities in Berkshire - Slough, Maidenhead, Bracknell and Reading - this year, with BtL encouraging businesses in those cities to connect to the network.

Rob Lamden, managing director, BtL, commented: We are really putting our money where our mouth is with this move.  The relocation not only signifies the exponential growth we have experienced in the last three years, but it also demonstrates our commitment and belief in what we sell to other businesses.

"We have been helping businesses in the region with their IT, telecoms and internet connectivity since 2001, our partnership with CityFibre is something we are very proud of and we have seen the real difference CityFibre has made to the region’s digital landscape. One of the key things for us while we were hunting for new offices was to ensure we were in the middle of the CityFibre network and the location we have moved to is one of the few spots in the whole network in the Thames Valley where the fibre actually goes all the way round it. We hope this move to the Gigabit city network in Bracknell showcases the true potential of CityFibre's pure fibre connectivity and encourages other businesses within the region to follow suit and join the network.”

BtL’s new offices are in the E-Centre in Bracknell, close to the town centre, with shops and a station within walking distance. BtL has incorporated a beach-themed showroom within its premises to illustrate the ‘work-anywhere’ concept. Potential clients can bring their iPads and experiment with various download options to highlight the speeds available and trial other services. The move comes at a pivotal time for BtL as the company aims to recruit more graduates and apprentices this year to cope with growth of the business and its rapidly expanding customer base.

Nick Gray, city development manager for CityFibre, said: “We are delighted that BtL has made the move to our Gigabit city network in Bracknell. Btl has been instrumental in helping us transform the digital landscape in the Berkshire region. This move will make Btl future-proofed as the thirst for greater bandwidth continues to grow annually. The Thames Valley is an economic powerhouse and it is important that this growing region has the best connectivity possible to enable it to remain competitive on a global stage."
