Bedrock Park near Bournemouth leases first four of 26 new units

Four of the 26 new units at Bedrock Park on Wimborne’s Ferndown Industrial Estate have now been leased to major UK brands, ahead of its official opening on Thursday 20 April.
Bedrock Park features a mix of industrial, warehouse and trade counter units, completed last month and currently being fitted out to occupiers’ specifications.
The scheme is a speculative development by Northwood Urban Logistics, with Vail Williams as marketing agents alongside DTRE and Realest.
Of the four leased units, two are warehouses now occupied by a consumer goods distributor and a provider of energy efficient products.

The other two are trade counters leased to mobility aids supplier CareCo and motorcycle brand Ducati UK, which has taken up a Bournemouth location in collaboration with Breeze Motor Group.
Bryony Solan, Surveyor and Associate at Vail Williams, said: “With the quartet of lettings by major UK business brands, Bedrock Park has even more cause to celebrate the scheme’s official opening this Thursday.
“Guests will be shown the latest environmentally friendly, market-leading technologies designed to address the increasing level of demand from occupiers who are seeking high-quality, sustainable accommodation for their businesses.
“Occupiers are increasingly looking to reduce occupancy costs whilst reducing their own carbon footprints through EPC ratings of A and B; Bedrock Park is designed and constructed to BREEAM Very Good.”
Bedrock Park will service the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole conurbation, with connections to the West Country via the A31 and other major cities via the M27 and M3.
The trade counters and light industrial and warehouse units range from 2,688 to 6,260 sq ft, while the two larger warehouse and logistics units range from 14,980 to 33,735 sq ft. The park itself totals 188,271 sq ft.
A variety of green technologies are in place, including low air permeability design, electric vehicle charging points, photovoltaic panels on select units, and energy efficient cladding and roofing materials.
The official opening on Thursday will provide a guided tour for property agents, followed by an open day for local and regional businesses from 10:30am to 3pm.
