Award winning marketing with Haslams
We at The Business Magazine love a good marketing campaign, which is why we are delighted and excited to award a Thames Valley company with Property Marketing Campaign of the Year.
Hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke, the Thames Valley Property Awards will be held at Ascot Racecourse on 16 November.
Awards will be made across a total of 17 categories on the evening, from Property Deal of the Year to Young Property Person of the Year.
The award for Property Marketing Campaign of the Year is sponsored by independent commercial property agents and chartered surveyors, Haslams.
The long-established Reading firm is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Haslams offers a full range of property consultancy services including commercial sales and lettings, development land sales, property valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, building surveys, asbestos reports, and schedules of dilapidations for their clients.
The Agency team handles an extensive portfolio of commercial property spread throughout the Thames Valley acting for both landlords, investors and occupiers.
Eligible marketing campaigns include property, sector, or company-focused promotion drives.
Neil Seager, Partner and Head of Commercial Agency comments “We acquire, let, and sell all types of commercial property. We act for pension funds on larger schemes locally, such as abrdn, USS, BMO Real Estate Partners, Industrial Property Investment Fund (IPIF), Orchard Street Investment Management and UBS.
"The commercial property market in 2021 saw a variety of challenges – not least of all Covid 19, which bought about a complete change in peoples working practices and had a knock-on effect to the property industry."
In these challenging times marketing can be key to the execution of a successful plan. Judges will be seeking to award those successful campaigns that have shown innovation.
Nominations can be entered by agents, landlords, developers and/or marketing companies.

Haslams' Neil Seager, said of the challenges which await the property sector: "2022 presents not only challenges of adjusting to a “new normal” post-pandemic but political uncertainty, inflation, a war in Europe and an energy crisis.
"The shake-out is a polarised market with industrial still holding its own, offices going through the most significant structural changes in a lifetime and retail having to reinvent itself. What is apparent already in the “new normal” is the surge of new or reinvented sub-sectors in the market such as film studios, life science, R&D, BTR, co-working, co-living, senior living, care villages and dark kitchens. This will continue into 2023 as the market diversifies."
Haslams continues to diversify its portfolio: "During the past 12 months we've been proud to be heavily involved in one of these new emerging sectors having advised clients on Winnersh Film Studios, Wycombe Film Studios and Shinfield Studios.
"The specialist knowledge we have gained in this sector puts us in a unique position and we look forward to playing a significant role in continuing to grow the films studio market in the Thames Valley and UK."
