Automotive firm APD celebrates business transformation with ‘high-tech’ new offices in Swindon
Swindon-based automotive business management services firm APD has moved to new premises to provide a ‘high-tech’ environment for staff and clients, whilst also providing a base for its new education and training academy.
APD has been investing in a new generation of its performance management systems for the automotive sector.
Established in 2006, APD was acquired by Ed White in 2018, taking the business from technical specialist to pioneer of world-class business management solutions for OEMs across national and international markets through the introduction of new performance products and services.
Part of the journey involved restructuring the business and strategic new hires, including Mat Hutchin as commercial director, Clive Sury as project manager and Rebecca Barker as programme manager, to lead the business forward.

APD has an impressive track record of introducing new technology and a sophisticated portfolio of software solutions.
The firm aims to close the gap between OEMs and dealerships by helping them interpret data and providing them with detailed performance insight.
The company recently launched its state-of-the-art budgeting and forecasting software, ProfitPlanner+, specifically engineered to help dealerships' through integrated, automated and streamlined budgeting and forecasting processes.

The new office in Swindon facilitates the launch of its new education and training service, the APD Education and Training Academy, delivering a comprehensive range of virtual and physical learning environments specific to dealerships and OEMs operational staff
