Kier Property, the development arm of Kier Group, has gained consent for the Walworth Business Park development in Andover in Hampshire and is set to start on site in September following the elapse of a six-week judicial review period.

Kier Property has managed the park on behalf of Test Valley Borough Council since 2011 and has secured prelets to Lidl (22,433 sq ft), Greggs (1,250 sq ft) and a Starbucks (1,800 sq ft) franchise. Practical completion is set for spring 2019.

Pip Prongué, managing director (south) for Kier Property, said: “This is an important milestone for Walworth Business Park, with construction set to start shortly and the reality of this fantastic scheme will start to come to life. It will provide around 60 jobs and offer the local community amenities that they will be able to use and enjoy for years to come.”
