Amiri Homes launched with Adrian Cator as Managing Director
Fareham Construction firm Amiri this week launched a housing division, Amiri Homes. The company state the new division will construct residential property developments of "intermediate scale."
The Amiri Group, which was founded in 2005 and has 55 employees, appointed Adrian Cator as Managing Director of the new division. The residential development arm of the firm will compliment ongoing education and commercial sector construction projects.
Mr. Cator told The Business Magazine: “I’m delighted to be launching Amiri Homes, a new housing focused development and contracting business based in Fareham and Bournemouth."
Having spent most of his early years on building sites due to the Cator family carpentry business, Adrian was destined for a construction career.
Having graduated from University of Southampton in 2002, with his Construction Management degree, Adrian then completed a graduate development training programme with a leading national contractor.
Returning to the South Coast in 2008, Adrian joined a well-known regional contractor and speculative developer with whom he spent the next 15 years, achieving the position of Managing Director.
His new tenure at Amiri Homes will see Mr. Cator collaborate with land owners, promoters, local authorities, registered housing providers and funders in order to: "Deliver high quality housing developments and new communities within the South-Central Region, from our offices in Fareham and Bournemouth.
"The long-term strategic plan of the leadership team is to reinforce Amiri Group’s presence within the residential market by harnessing the reputation of Amiri to create a new identity in the property development sector."
Amiri state the aim of the new division is to deliver land promotion, speculative private development and mixed tenure affordable housing projects.

The firm already boast a delivery track record within the education, retail and commercial sectors and state that 30% of their contracts are repeat business.
