Sidcup has a new £32million Logistics Park, occupancy of which is already at 95%.

Developer Chancerygate confirmed practical completion on the £32m, 120,000 sq ft urban logistics scheme on Edgington Way in Sidcup this week.

Sidcup Logistics Park, comprises 13 high specification Grade A units. Chancerygate forward sold 12 of the properties totalling 113,800 sq ft, which represents 95 per cent of the available space at the development, ahead of practical completion.

The final 6,200 sq ft unit is currently under offer.

Residents of Sidcup Logistics Park can access electric vehicle charging points. Solar cells provide up to 35 per cent of the units’ energy needs.

Located less than two miles from Sidcup town centre the Park has easy access to the A20, M25 and central London.

Sidcup Logistics Park is located next to a site of special scientific interest (SSSI), so Chancerygate has used green coloured cladding and a landscaped bank to suit the environs.

The development is Chancerygate's second scheme in Sidcup. The first was the 117,000 sq ft of urban logistics space at Klinger Industrial Park which was forward sold to M&G Real Estate.

Chancerygate development director, Jonathan Lee, said: “There continues to be significant demand within Kent for sustainable Grade A urban logistics space in strategic, highly accessible locations.

“The rate of forward sales at Sidcup Logistics Park is proof of this and our development will provide the platform for further investment and job creation within Sidcup and beyond.”

Founded in 1995, Chancerygate has offices in London, Warrington, Birmingham, Bristol, and Milton Keynes. It currently has more than 3.5m sq ft of industrial space under construction or ready for development across 32 sites ranging from Bournemouth to Edinburgh.
