£3.5m Coldeast Mansion in Sarisbury sold to local Fern Property
Coldeast Mansion in Sarisbury has been sold to local private property company Fern Property, off a guide price of £3.5 million. Savills completed the sale on behalf of joint administrators, Edward Avery-Gee and Daniel Mark Richardson.
The new owners plan to reopen Coldeast Mansion as a newly refurbished aparthotel in September 2021. The property provides 37 serviced apartments sits on 8.9 acres of gardens and parkland and is located directly next to Holly Hill Park & Gardens nature reserve.
Adam Bullas, director in the licensed leisure team at Savills Southampton, says: “The new owners have commenced an extensive refurbishment programme that takes full advantage of the attractive surroundings and Victorian charm of the property.”
Jason Parker, on behalf of Fern Property, commented: “Initially opening with a casual daytime dining offer, the Mansion will soon be able to offer six bespoke outdoor dining pods, evening dining, the Library bar, and the Admiral lounge plus individually tailored events.”
