Vistage UK, the UK arm of the worldwide leadership development specialist, has signed a 10-year lease renewal on its headquarters near Southampton.

The deal, which was overseen by property consultancy Vail Williams, is equivalent to slightly more than £21 per square foot for the 5,500 square feet Vanbrugh House in Botleigh Grange, Hedge End.

Russel Mogridge, national lead partner in Vail Williams’ property consultancy team, acted on behalf of Vanbrugh House’s landlord, Northwood Regional.

Russell said: “It is a pleasure to be involved once again with Vistage UK, a decade on from when Vistage UK relocated to Vanbrugh House from Winchester.

“They join a number of first-class businesses located at this premier business park, including Lloyds Bank, global property and construction consultancy Gleeds, global asset management and construction consultancy Currie & Brown, national law firm Clarke Willmott and PURE Gym’s IT department.

“Having reviewed its property requirements, and explored alternative options, Vistage UK opted to retain the same superb premises because it offers a great location for clients to visit and employees to work from.

“We’ve had a great deal of success at Botleigh Grange over the years and I’m delighted Vistage UK decided to remain in Vanbrugh House, recognising the world-class facilities and working environment which so many companies now seek.”

Negotiations on the lease terms were handled by Vistage UK’s global head office in San Diego, USA.

Kerry Douglas, Vistage UK’s Operations Director, said: “Vistage UK was keen to remain in situ, given the excellent facilities for our colleagues and clients and connectivity to the M27 Solent Corridor between Southampton and Portsmouth, the M3 to Winchester, Basingstoke and London and the A27 to the east.

“Having a UK headquarters which hits all the right notes means we don’t have the expense and considerable disruption that comes with relocation.

“Vistage UK looks forward to another 10 successful years at Botleigh Grange Office Campus, delivering impactful coaching and peer development to ambitious C-suite executives in a trusting and supportive environment.”
