Are you lacking creativity and motivation? Feeling discounted to your goals?  A business retreat could be the answer to unlock more of your potential.

In 2022 business retreats became more popular due to entrepreneurs wanting to take some time out of their daily routine and escape to better surroundings to gain much needed perspective on their life and business. With many years of not being able to connect face to face, a retreat was a chance of making new connections, a chance to escape the madness of the daily grind and find new opportunities to grow on a personal level.

Investing in your business is vital for growth and studies show that retreats provide various health benefits as well a huge growth prospect. The right one can support your goals while you also enjoy the benefits of travel.

Organisations are now seen to be are taking more of a holistic approach to business and are recognising the importance of wellbeing in the workplace. Wellbeing matters and the stresses and strains of running a business can quite often be a cause of burnout. A luxury retreat can provide a much-needed break from the demands of work and helps individuals recharge, leading to a reduction in stress and burnout.

The benefits of travelling offers a change in scenery, slower pace and gives time for all important reflection in business while giving the essential burst of creativity.

Amy Jessica, from Amy Jessica Events runs luxury business retreats and events for business leaders globally. She has seen first hand the benefits a retreat has for not only for business owners themselves but for their businesses and employees.

What was the main reason to set up the luxury retreats?

“Experiencing running my own business and knowing the pressures of doing all of the things, I found myself going on a retreat to spark my creativity and it was life changing. It gives business owners a luxury relaxed environment to network, gain knowledge, become inspired, empowered and educated on areas that will help improve their personal and business brand and grow their business.”

What was the outcome from last year's retreats and the people who attended?

“It was amazing some of the feedback included multiple business was gained, collaborations (jvs), knowledge was shared between business owners that others within the group found useful and were going to implement into their business to improve it. There’s just something really special about seeing great connections and business deals being made. All loved the itinerary of experiences and said it was better than they imagined. It gave them the break they needed to work on themselves and on their business instead of in it. Most are returning on the next B2C retreat this year in Ibiza”.

We all know running a business can take its toll, from a well-being perspective, are the retreats designed to support mental wellbeing?

“100% everyone needs a break from the demands of the office from time to time and it’s an opportunity to relax and take time to share your business journey with other like-minded entrepreneurs who like to also share their experiences, mindset and habits for success and how they deal with obstacles. Most found the super yacht the highlight of the experience as it was a chance to switch off, unwind, relax, network and have fun, many even over- come personal fears like getting in the water and going on a jet ski. The activities are designed to support the wellbeing of others”

Overall, luxury business retreats provide a valuable opportunity for individuals and organisations to invest in themselves, teams and their business goals.

We expect to see them rise in popularity as business owners look for more ways to boost profit and productivity
