Fast-growing corporate recovery and business advisory firm Quantuma has appointed Andrew Andronikou as a partner. He joins the firm from UHY Hacker Young and will be based in the London office.

Welcoming him to Quantuma, managing partner Carl Jackson said: “Andrew is a well known insolvency professional who brings many years of experience and extensive contacts both in the UK and in Cyprus. He has been known to us for many years.

“As well as his core area of mid-market insolvency and restructuring cases, he is also recognised as the leading insolvency practitioner operating in Cyprus.”

Andronikou said: “I have watched the impressive growth of Quantuma led by Carl and the partners and I am very pleased to have been invited to join the firm. I believe Quantuma has a refreshing approach to corporate restructuring and as the firm develops its business advisory service lines, it will have a unique offer in the marketplace.”

In the past four and a half years, Quantuma has expanded from one office in Southampton to launch operations in London, Brighton, Marlow, Watford and Bristol, and in 2017 has expanded into the north west with an office in Manchester and the Midlands with an office in Birmingham.

This year the firm has recruited Mike Wright, based in Manchester, to lead expansion in the north west, and Martin Coyne in Birmingham for the West Midlands.

They have also launched a corporate finance offering under new arrival Mark Lucas and recruited personal insolvency expert Mark Sands.
