Reading’s Blandy & Blandy to train collaborative lawyers

Reading-based law firm Blandy & Blandy has dipped into the expertise of their family law team to train new collaborative lawyers for family law body Resolution.
Tasha Bevan-Stewart, partner at Blandy & Blandy, has had a hand in redesigning and relaunching the collaborative lawyer training course which was put on hold during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the second time that Tasha has presented this course, the first being launched in late 2022.
She said: “Collaborative divorce is a way for couples to sort out their financial and other arrangements with each of them having a lawyer present at round table meetings, adopting a constructive problem-solving approach. It allows other professionals such as financial advisers to consult and be part of the team.’’
Tasha continues to build on her expertise in helping families through separation through collaborative and other out of court methods via her involvement as co-chair of Resolution’s Collaborative Practice Working Party.
