Reading's Blandy & Blandy celebrates 290 Years at Summer Garden Party

Reading law firm Blandy & Blandy celebrated its 290th year at its annual garden party held in Reading on 8 June.

The event welcomed members of the Thames Valley’s professional community, including accountants, bankers, financial advisers, property agents, planning consultants and surveyors, alongside selected clients. It was held at the firm’s One Friar Street offices, home to the firm since 1798.

Nick Furrows, partner and chairman at Blandy, gave a speech in which he announced that the firm had recorded its strongest financial performance in its history.

He said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us at this year’s well-attended and enjoyable summer garden party to celebrate our 290th year. 

We are proud of our longstanding place in the region’s professional community. We look forward to working with our clients and contacts in the next year and thank them for supporting the continued growth and success of our firm.”
