John Carter, the lead partner on professional negligence work at BPE, commented on Katy’s arrival; “It is great for the litigation practice and for BPE as a whole – we are excited to work with Katy and draw on her expertise and insights from her role at the PNLA.

"She will be a fantastic addition to the team.”

Katy originally qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and worked in London until moving to the west country in 1991.

She was made an equity partner in a leading Bristol practice in 1995 becoming Head of the Professional Negligence team. Katy formed Manley Turnbull Limited solicitors in 2006 and has now joined BPE.
