Farnborough-based SiXworks, which designs and implements IT solutions for highly secure critical risk environments in the public sector, has been advised by Penningtons Manches Cooper on its investment from Chiltern Capital.

SiXworks specialisation covers secure-by-design cloud computing, advanced network and infrastructure design, rapid application development, cross-security domain systems, multi-source data platforms, cyber vulnerability mitigation and intelligence systems.

The firm’s technical and business consultancy, which promotes best of breed technologies, has expanded quickly since it was established to reach a strong market position from which it intends grow further.

Steve Rawsthorn, CEO of SiXworks, said: “Chiltern is a strong fit for us both in terms of sector experience and approach and this new investment will enable SiXworks to execute the next stages of its ambitious plan.

The team advising SiXworks was led by partner Will Axtell and senior associate Dominique Sabatini. The wider team included Leo Shrimpton, Andy Rushfirth, Clare Coley, Victoria Spires, Nora Pook, Edmund Forey, Leonie Langley and Kathy Hills.
